WALPOLE — The Walpole Conservation Commission voted 5-0 to approve orders of conditions for a redeveloped gas station and convenience store at 741-745 Main Street and a commercial building for AVO Fence Company on Route 1. Consulting engineer Hal Chuba said the Main Street project, filed by applicant Aaron Cutler, cuts impervious surface by 12,512 square feet and captures 92 percent of suspended solids before discharge to the Neponset River. The fence-company project included a contested gated, exit-only driveway onto Pine Street, justified for fire department access and tractor-trailer safety, with riverfront alteration capped near 9.8 percent of the allowable limit.

The commission continued a 15-home subdivision hearing at 9 Pinnacle Drive to November 18 at 7:20 p.m. pending updated engineering.
