Dover DPW Advances Paving Projects Across Town
The Department of Public Works is moving ahead with paving projects across town, according to a Town Hall News Flash update, while officials continue collecting resident input on housing and tree preservation priorities.

The DPW has announced ongoing paving projects around Dover, with details available through the town's News Flash system. The town continues to operate under a Level 2 Significant Drought Declaration, which limits nonessential outdoor watering to hand-held hoses or watering cans only, between 5 p.m. and 9 a.m.
The Housing Task Force is continuing to collect responses to its anonymous Housing Development Study & Plan survey, intended to gauge resident housing needs and preferences. Separately, the Tree Preservation Committee's survey on tree preservation priorities remains open to residents through September 11. The Board of Selectmen also hosted a public information session with Aquarion Water Company on options to address water quality issues, including discolored water and PFAS concerns, for Aquarion customers in town.
Early voting information is also available through the town, with early voting to be held in the Great Hall of the Dover Town House; residents can check the town website for the full schedule.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The Dover Public Library's August newsletter highlights ongoing offerings including the Maker Lounge, equipped with a sublimation printer, heat press and XTool cutter, along with the library's Book Cellar Bookshop run by the Friends of the Library. The library also promotes its book clubs, including the 100 Book Club, for residents looking to connect with fellow readers.
