The Dover Fire Department announced it is "honored and deeply grateful" to receive the inaugural $40,000 donation from the Katelyn Tosi Foundation, established in memory of Katelyn Tosi. The town's News Flash did not detail specific planned uses for the funds, but characterized the gift as a meaningful first in what is described as an annual contribution.
Dover residents should also be aware that a Level 2 Significant Drought declaration remains in effect for the town. Under the restriction, nonessential outdoor water use is permitted only through hand-held hoses or watering cans, and only during the window after 5 p.m. and before 9 a.m. The restriction applies town-wide.
Time is also running short on the 2026 Public Health Needs Survey, which closes June 15. The anonymous survey is a collaborative effort by Dover, Medfield, Needham, and Sherborn and asks residents to weigh in on key public health priorities across the four communities. Residents have three days to complete it.
