Dover Housing Task Force Launches Survey For Housing Development Plan
DOVER — The town's Housing Task Force and its Tree Preservation Committee both opened resident surveys this week, asking Dover residents to weigh in on the future of housing development and tree protection in town.
TOWN HALL
The Housing Task Force is asking residents to complete an anonymous survey as it prepares the town's Housing Development Study & Plan. Town officials say the responses will help gauge housing needs, preferences and opportunities in Dover as the plan takes shape.
Separately, the Tree Preservation Committee is seeking resident input to help set priorities for tree preservation in town. That survey remains open through September 11, 2026.
Both efforts follow a month in which the town has already been managing its Level 2 drought declaration, which limits nonessential outdoor watering to hand-held hoses or watering cans before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m., and continuing talks with Aquarion Water Company over discolored water and PFAS in the town's water supply.
