The Town of Franklin announced a scheduled water shut-off for Tuesday, July 28, 2026, according to a News Flash posting from the Department of Public Works. Residents in the affected area should expect a temporary interruption to water service.

Separately, the town confirmed that DelCarte Ponds will undergo aquatic vegetation treatment on Thursday, July 30, 2026, to control nuisance vegetation growth, with water-use restrictions in effect as part of the process, per the town's News Flash feed.
