Janet Bowler Fitzgibbons, of Brookline, MA, died peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Grand Oaks Senior Living in Washington, D.C. She was born on March 1, 1935, in Hanover, New Hampshire, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John P. Bowler, and attended Marymount School in Tarrytown, NY. Service details were not included in the notice reviewed; see the full obituary for further information. Charline Ruth Levin (Tarutz), of Brookline, died on September 24, 2026, at the age of 88. Notices compiled from Legacy.com (Brookline listings, including Boston Globe and Shepherd Funeral & Cremation Service postings) and Echovita. Brookline Patch and Tribute Archive were also checked; neither yielded a qualifying Brookline obituary published this week. Several additional names appeared on aggregator pages for the Brookline area this week but were omitted here because their dates of death and publication both fell outside September 21-27, 2026, or because the source text did not clearly establish Brookline residency.
