Sharon Marketplace Lot Closes for Repaving Starting Sunday
SHARON — Crews will mill and repave the Sharon Marketplace parking lot at 700 South Main St. starting Sunday, weather permitting, as the town also opened registration for two summer public-safety programs and the library confirmed a temporary parking crunch of its own.
TOWN HALL
The Sharon Marketplace parking lot will be milled and paved beginning Sunday, July 19, and running through Thursday, July 23, weather permitting, according to a town announcement. Drivers and shoppers should expect disruptions at the lot through the work week.
The Sharon Police Department is accepting applications for its 18th annual Junior Police Academy, set for Aug. 3-8. Separately, the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office and the Sharon Police Department will host the town's annual Summer Safety Fest on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crescent Ridge.
At the Sharon Public Library, parking remains limited while a solar panel installation is underway on the building's roof, the library says on its website.
