Finance Committee backs Hartford Ave district, $9M bond
The Finance Committee voted 6-0 to recommend the Hartford Ave/I-495 financing district and a $9 million bond for the Nov. 18 Fall Annual Town Meeting. Staff said the town would owe the debt if district revenue fell short, with the general fund covering any gap, but called a full loss unlikely.

Silver Lake Beach Finishes Season With Budget Surplus
Bellingham's Parks Commission reported Oct. 19 that Silver Lake beach is running an estimated $9,000 surplus this season after non-resident pass fees rose, non-resident day passes went from $7 to $15 and season passes from $60 to $75, while resident rates held at $7 and $10.
