Weymouth Corrects Water and Sewer Bill Due Date to Aug. 28

WEYMOUTH — The Town of Weymouth has corrected a billing error that printed the wrong due date on water and sewer bills for three routes, giving affected customers until Aug. 28 to pay instead of the original Aug. 7 date. The fix, posted this week on the town's website, arrives alongside a busy calendar stretch that includes Wednesday's Summer Concert Series and two Weymouth School Committee sessions Thursday.

TOWN HALL

The Town recently mailed water and sewer bills that contained incorrect due-date information, according to a notice posted on weymouth.ma.us. Bills for routes 10, 11 and 14 were printed with a due date of Aug. 7, 2026; the town says the correct due date is Aug. 28, 2026. Residents on those routes who have not yet paid are urged to check the corrected date before submitting payment.

Separately, the Weymouth-Braintree Regional Recreation-Conservation District Board of Commissioners is scheduled to meet Wednesday, Aug. 19, per the town's online calendar.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Weymouth's Summer Concert Series continues Wednesday evening, according to the town's community events calendar. The town has not posted additional details on the performer or location for this week's show beyond the calendar listing.
