Bellingham Conservation Commission closes orders for three Red Mill on the Charles lots and continues dozens more to August 12. The commission voted unanimously Tuesday to issue orders of conditions for lots 8, 9, and 15 of the Toll Northeast V Corp subdivision off Mechanic Street, making each contingent on approval of the project's pending overall order amendment. Lot 88 was flagged as potentially unbuildable as drawn, with the primary structure footprint falling within the 50-foot wetland buffer adjacent to a seven-foot retaining wall; Hannah said flatly, "I don't think we could issue an order as is." The commission also accepted a withdrawal without prejudice on a Lake Shore Drive septic replacement request and continued an accessory dwelling unit notice of intent at 39 North Main Street, with approximately 35 Red Mill lots still requiring orders of conditions before construction can begin.
