Dover-Sherborn Tennis Falls Just Short of State Title in Singles Showdown
Dover-Sherborn's tennis program pushed to the edge of a state championship this week, and back in town, residents have until Monday to weigh in on a regional public health survey while outdoor watering limits under an active drought declaration remain in effect.

Dover remains under a Level 2 Significant Drought declaration. Nonessential outdoor water use is restricted to hand-held hoses or watering cans and permitted only before 9 a.m. or after 5 p.m. Sprinklers and irrigation systems are off-limits for nonessential use under the restriction.
Time is also running short to complete the 2026 Public Health Needs Survey. The anonymous survey — a joint initiative by Dover, Medfield, Needham, and Sherborn — closes Monday, June 15. Residents can access it through the town's website at doverma.gov and are encouraged to share their views on key community health priorities before the deadline.
The Dover Fire Department recently received the first annual $40,000 donation from the Katelyn Tosi Foundation, given in memory of Katelyn Tosi. The department described the gift as an honor and expressed deep gratitude for the contribution. Dover Patch also reported on the donation earlier this week.
Separately, Aquarion Water Company recently joined the Board of Selectmen at a public information session to discuss options for addressing water quality concerns facing Aquarion customers, including discolored water and the presence of PFAS.
