Franklin Announces Power Supply Mailing, Opens Call for CPC Volunteers

FRANKLIN — Eligible Basic Service electricity customers in Franklin will soon receive enrollment and opt-out information by mail as part of the town's Community Choice Power Supply Program, town officials announced, while separately calling for residents to fill two open seats on the Community Preservation Committee.

The Town of Franklin announced an update to its Community Choice Power Supply Program, notifying residents that eligible Basic Service customers will receive enrollment and opt-out information by mail. The notice gives affected customers a heads-up to watch their mailboxes for paperwork determining their electricity supply status under the program.

Separately, the town is seeking volunteers to fill two Citizen-at-Large seats on the Community Preservation Committee (CPC), the panel that oversees Franklin's Community Preservation Act funding for open space, historic preservation, community housing and recreation projects.
