Franklin Seeks Volunteers for Community Preservation Committee

FRANKLIN — Town officials are seeking residents to fill two open Citizen-at-Large seats on the Community Preservation Committee, one of several administrative openings highlighted in the town's latest updates as the DelCarte Ponds treatment set for Thursday approaches.

TOWN HALL

The Town of Franklin is inviting residents to apply for two Citizen-at-Large seats on the Community Preservation Committee (CPC), which oversees funding decisions tied to the town's Community Preservation Act revenue, including open space, historic preservation, and affordable housing projects. Separately, the town continues to advertise openings on other boards and committees for residents interested in getting involved in local governance.

The town also flagged an update to its Community Choice Power Supply Program, noting that eligible Basic Service electricity customers will receive enrollment and opt-out information by mail. Residents are encouraged to review those mailed notices closely to understand their options under the program.

The June 2026 edition of the Franklin First Newsletter is now available, offering residents a roundup of updates and highlights from town departments.
