Franklin Wins $30,000 Grant to Update Hazard Mitigation Plan
Franklin has been awarded a $30,000 state grant to update its Hazard Mitigation Plan, a regional planning effort undertaken jointly with the Town of Bellingham.

The Town announced Friday that state funding will support a joint update of Franklin's and Bellingham's Hazard Mitigation Plans, the guiding documents municipalities use to identify and prepare for natural-disaster risks. The two communities will coordinate the planning work together.
Separately, the Town confirmed that Friday trash collection will proceed as scheduled tomorrow, with no changes to the regular pickup routine.
