Holbrook Moves to Phase 2 Water Restrictions

HOLBROOK — The Town of Holbrook moved into Phase 2 water restrictions this week, tightening outdoor water use rules for residents even as several municipal job postings went up across departments.

TOWN HALL

Holbrook's Phase 2 Water Restrictions took effect July 17, according to a notice posted to the town's official website. The posting does not detail the specific new limits, but the designation marks an escalation from whatever restriction level preceded it, and residents are directed to the town site for the full terms.

Town Hall also posted several new job openings this week: a Principal Clerk position in the Assessor's Office, a part-time Council on Aging Activities Coordinator, and a part-time COA Alternate Principal Clerk. All three postings appeared on the town's News Flash page.

COMING UP

The Board of Library Trustees and the Conservation Commission both meet Monday, July 20, per the town's public calendar. The Tri-Town Board of Water Commissioners meets Tuesday, July 21, alongside a BHR DSC ad-hoc Zoom meeting and a BHR Evaluation Subcommittee meeting the same day.
