Koch Launches Quincy Legacy Business Program
QUINCY — Mayor Tom Koch this week announced the launch of the City of Quincy Legacy Business Program, a new initiative recognizing the city's longstanding small businesses, as the city also locked in plans for an America 250 concert and Labor Day fireworks.

Mayor Koch announced the launch of the City of Quincy Legacy Business Program, framed by the city as a way to celebrate and support small businesses that have anchored Quincy for years. No further program details, such as eligibility or funding, were released with the announcement.
The city also confirmed a special America 250 Pops Concert on the Hancock Adams Common for Saturday, Sept. 12. Separately, the city said it will hold fireworks over Labor Day weekend to honor the workers who built America, part of the city's ongoing 250th anniversary celebrations.
