Medfield Youth Hockey unveils new jerseys and launches equipment exchange drive as summer sports clinics get underway.

MEDFIELD -- Medfield Youth Hockey made two community-facing announcements this week. At a public board meeting on June 23, MYH officially unveiled a new jersey design, saying the uniforms "better align with other Medfield athletic programs and reflect our community's identity." The organization looks ahead to the 2026-2027 season with the new look.

On June 26, MYH announced an equipment exchange program. A donation bin is now available outside 15 Miller St. (Caruso Funeral Home) through the end of July, where families can drop off gently used skates, gloves, pads, sticks, bags, goalie gear, and other equipment their players have outgrown. Before the season begins, MYH will organize the donations and host a free MYH Equipment Store for families to take items at no cost. Only clean, safe, and usable equipment is requested.

YOUTH LEAGUES

Medfield Youth Hockey's free Summer Skills Sessions, led by Coach Guden at Norfolk, continue Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. through August 26 for 2026-2027 registered Mites through Peewees.

Medfield Youth Basketball Association's Triple Threat Summer Clinic — run by past and current Medfield varsity boys basketball players — opened its first session June 22-24 at the high school outdoor courts, with half-day and full-day options for rising 2nd- through 8th-grade boys. The Girls' FastBreak Summer Clinic, led by former Medfield player and current Amherst College player Annie McCarthy, also ran June 22-24 at Medfield High School and Blake Middle School for girls entering grades 3-8, with a focus on fun and fundamentals.

Medfield Soccer has opened fall 2026 player registration, with an early-bird discount available. The club, a member of the Boston Area Youth Soccer League (BAYS), serves Medfield residents in grades 1-8.
