Milton Board of Health fields equity and outreach challenge from advisory committee. Kinsella described existing tools including a multi-language food access guide, a shared-services language interpretation line used by seven Norfolk County communities, and a forthcoming survey of all town department heads on language access as a baseline for improvement. The board approved its January 12 minutes 3-0 and reported that former Assistant Health Director Emily Connors has resigned to take a position in Needham, with a sole internal applicant — Assistant Health Director Karolyn Ho — advancing toward an interview for the role.
