Norfolk Select Board Appoints Two to School Building Committee in 3-0 Vote

NORFOLK — May 28, 2026 — Norfolk Select Board appoints two residents to newly formed School Building Committee. The three-member board voted 3-0 Wednesday to seat Andrew Litfield and Chuck Parrish on the Norfolk School Building Committee, though the vote had to be redone after member Tyus Hickman was found to have been present in the remote session without panelist access. The board also voted to advance a charge setting the Norfolk School Committee's composition at 13 members. Appointee Chuck Parrish, who had submitted his credentials by email, declined opening remarks but offered to answer questions — none were posed. Chair Kevin Roach said the Building Committee has already met once and elected a chair, with a second meeting expected within weeks to select a vice chair and secretary.
