Quincy City Clerk Posts Unofficial Primary Election Results
Quincy's Office of the City Clerk posted unofficial results from Tuesday's state primary election, capping a night in which U.S. Sen. Ed Markey turned back a Democratic primary challenge from U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton and Republican Minogue won his party's gubernatorial primary, setting up a November matchup with Gov. Maura Healey.

The City Clerk's office made the unofficial primary night tally available for public review Tuesday, closing out a campaign season that Quincy voters had been following for weeks. The posting covers the local returns from Tuesday's statewide primary, which determined the November ballot for governor, lieutenant governor, U.S. Senate and U.S. House.
Separately, the city's Notices and Alerts page announced a one-day delay in trash and recycling collection starting the week of September 7, tied to the Labor Day holiday. Residents on that week's schedule should expect pickup a day later than usual.
