Retirement Planning Firm Expands Its Franklin Office Footprint
FRANKLIN — A Needham-based retirement planning firm is expanding its footprint in Franklin, growing its local office space even as the town continues seeking residents to fill a slate of volunteer board seats.

The Town Council's approval of the Fiscal Year 2027 operating budget continues to anchor town business this summer, setting spending priorities and capital investments for the year ahead, according to the town's News Flash feed. Town officials are also still recruiting volunteers for several boards and committees, including two Citizen-at-Large seats on the Community Preservation Committee, a continuing need the town has flagged in recent News Flash postings.
Franklin also continues to roll out its Community Choice Power Supply Program, with eligible Basic Service customers slated to receive enrollment and opt-out information by mail, per the town's announcements.

The Franklin Public Library's July calendar remains active this week, with Friday, July 24 programming including a Political Discussion group, a Diamond Art craft session, T.O.P.S., a Simply Fit class, a Stuffed Animal Sleepover Slideshow, and a Bubble Buddies program for young patrons, according to the library's event listings.
