Select Board · Meeting of September 22, 2026

Medfield Select Board clears a slate of multiyear contracts, with Chair Osler Peterson recusing himself on one vote. Members unanimously approved a three-year, $49,000-a-year audit agreement with R.E. Brown & Company, plus a $6,000-a-year school financial report required by the state, and signed a Chapter 90 state road-funding contract extension through June 30, 2037.

The board also approved a one-year lease with the United Church of Christ for Parks and Recreation office space and renewed a door-to-door solicitor's license for Renewal by Andersen representatives Nick Burleigh, Chris Redding and Nick Yablomski through December 23, after a fourth applicant resigned from the company the same day. Peterson recused himself from a consent-agenda vote covering Medfield Foundation Angel Run signage, citing his foundation affiliation. Member Gus Murby told the company's marketer, "we usually ask people to stop solicitation at sundown."
