WRENTHAM — The Select Board voted 4-0 to ratify a firefighters' contract agreement ahead of next week's Town Meeting. Town Manager Mike King said the Wrentham Permanent Firefighters Association had already ratified the memorandum of agreement, and board approval was required before Town Meeting can appropriate funding Nov. 9. The board also approved National Grid's petition for a new pole on Elysium Street and accepted Sean Cunney's resignation from the Economic Development Commission, both 4-0.

Consultants from Capital Strategic Solutions reported that 75.6 percent of 337 survey respondents felt informed about town news. A consultant told the board, "You have plenty of tools in your toolbox," and a draft communications plan is due mid-November.
