Sharon Marketplace Lot Closes for Repaving Through Thursday
The parking lot at Sharon Marketplace, 700 South Main St., is being milled and repaved this week, with work running from Sunday, July 19 through Thursday, July 23, weather permitting, according to the town's News & Announcements page.

The Sharon Marketplace paving project is the most tangible item on today's town news list, with the lot closed to milling and repaving crews through Thursday. Shoppers and commuters who use that lot should expect disruption and plan for alternate parking through the week.
The Sharon Police Department is also taking applications for its 18th annual Junior Police Academy, set for Aug. 3-8, 2026, giving families about two weeks to apply. Separately, the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office and Sharon Police plan to host the annual Summer Safety Fest on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crescent Ridge.
