Sharon Schedules Marketplace Lot Paving, Opens Junior Police Academy Signups
SHARON — The town's Department of Public Works will close and repave the Sharon Marketplace parking lot for up to five days starting this weekend, one of three town announcements posted this week alongside applications for the Sharon Police Department's Junior Police Academy and plans for next month's Summer Safety Fest.

The Sharon Marketplace parking lot at 700 South Main St. will be milled and repaved starting Sunday, July 19, and running through Thursday, July 23, weather permitting, according to the town's News Flash announcements. The project is expected to limit access to the lot for the duration of the work.
The Sharon Police Department is seeking applications for its 18th annual Junior Police Academy, scheduled for Aug. 3-8, 2026.
The Norfolk County Sheriff's Office and the Sharon Police Department will host the town's annual Summer Safety Fest on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crescent Ridge.
