Parks Commission favors decorative trash barrels
Parks Commission signaled support for $740 decorative trash barrels at town parks. DPW Director Jesse Riedle said the bag-lined, theft-resistant barrels would cost about $11,000 for the Silver Lake, Macy, Northfield and Arcand Park sites, against about $5,300 for steel drums.
