Westwood Youth Soccer keeps registration open for its fall season and preseason skills clinics.

WESTWOOD -- Little in the way of high school or Little League action was reported this week, but Westwood Youth Soccer's website showed active registration and program news heading into the fall.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Westwood Youth Soccer says late registration for Grades K-8 in the Fall 2026 season "is still possible but space is limited in some programs," and the club is asking parents to consider volunteering as coaches, noting "we cannot do it without volunteer coaches." The club is also running an August Preseason Fun Skills and Scrimmages program for Grades PreK-8, coached by staff from Proformance Soccer, WYS's coach-mentoring group. Separately, registration remains open for the WYS Fall PreK Soccer Skills program, for children who are "age 4 by Nov 1, 2026," with the club noting "spaces are limited." The Westwood Youth Soccer Board of Directors listed an upcoming meeting for August 23, 2026, at 7 p.m.

No new schedule, standings, or results information was posted this week by Westwood Little League, the Westwood Basketball Association, or Westwood Youth Sports.
