Bellingham Soccer Association held its July board meeting and put out a call for new referees.

BELLINGHAM -- Youth soccer news dominated an otherwise quiet week for Bellingham sports, with no Bellingham High School games reported for the period.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Bellingham Soccer Association (BSA) held its July 2026 board meeting on July 7 at the North Community Building, described on the club's site as "the White Building across street from StallBrook Elementary School (the Old Firestation #3)." The meeting started at 7 p.m., with the first 30 minutes set aside for public attendees. Separately, BSA is recruiting referees for its programs, which run from Instructional Soccer (grades PreK-K) and Intown Soccer (grades 1-2) through Travel Soccer (grades 3-8) and a High School U15-U18 spring league. The association says it "cannot function without the help of our qualified referee program" and that referees must be at least 14 years old, though players can take the grade 9 referee course early if they turn 14 before the upcoming season.
