Canton Youth Basketball Association opens 2026-2027 travel registration and sets a summer clinic led by the high school's varsity coaches.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Canton Youth Basketball Association announced this week that registration for 2026-2027 Travel Basketball is now open. CYBA also detailed its summer basketball clinic for Canton boys and girls entering grades 4-9, to be led by Canton High School varsity girls coach Jesse Mitchell and varsity boys coach Joe Sweeney. Sessions are set for Sunday, July 26 and Sunday, August 16 at Canton High School, split by grade -- 12 to 1:30 p.m. for incoming grades 4-6 and 1:30 to 3 p.m. for incoming grades 7-9 -- with groups further divided by age and gender based on attendance. Registration is limited to Canton residents and current CYBA intown or travel players, costs $5 per player per clinic, and financial assistance is available through the association for families who need it.

The Canton Victory Hockey Association also opened registration for the Canton Wolves' Fall 2026-27 season. CVHA said its "Juicebox Hockey" program has already started and that there is still room for new players to join.
