Dedham Basketball Association opens summer clinic registration, seeks volunteers, honors four scholarship winners.

DEDHAM -- The Dedham Basketball Association (DBA) is opening registration for an "Upcoming Summer Clinic," with sign-ups available through the Clinic tab on the DBA website.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The DBA is recruiting parent volunteers for its board, saying it is "looking for engaged parents — especially of younger players — to join the DBA board and help with key needs like gym scheduling, fundraising, and other important program support." Interested parents can email dedhambasketballboard@gmail.com.

The association also congratulated four scholarship winners: Abby LeGendre, headed to the University of Tennessee; Keira Murphy-Clinton, headed to Northeastern University; Dante Gutierrez, headed to the University of South Carolina; and Grace Bender, headed to Salve Regina University.

Town and Travel basketball registration for the upcoming season is currently listed as closed on the DBA site. The association said financial assistance is available for families who need it, and that requests can be directed confidentially to DBA president Bob LoPorto at bobloporto30@gmail.com.
