Dover Planning Board Approves Pool, ADU Plans and Names Student Committee Rep

DOVER — March 24, 2026 — Dover Planning Board unanimously approved two site plan applications and appointed a high school student to a town committee at its March 24 meeting. The board cleared a preliminary site plan for a detached accessory dwelling unit at 18 Meadowbrook Road — carrying 3-0 with Chair Carol Lisbon and member Beam recused — then approved a nine-by-16-foot plunge pool with a roughly 1,000-square-foot patio at 80 Strawberry Hill Road, 5-0. Josie Danielski, a Dover-Sherborn Regional High School sophomore, was appointed to the Tree Preservation Committee for a two-year term after responding to a notice in the Dover Stroll community publication. Town Planner Melissa flagged a pivotal April 6 public hearing on proposed ADU and site plan review bylaw amendments, with a board vote on those amendments scheduled for April 13. A first public housing study forum, run with Barrett Planning Group, is set for March 31 on Zoom.
