Foxborough Select Board Approves Early Alcohol Hours for Patriots Playoff Game

FOXBOROUGH — January 16, 2026 — Foxborough Select Board unanimously approved early alcohol service for eight Patriot Place restaurants ahead of the Patriots' 3 p.m. playoff game. Meeting in a special Friday-morning session with only three of five members present, the board voted 3-0 to allow Archelito's Takaria, Fat Tuesday, Red Robin America's Gourmet Burgers and Spirits, Six Strings Grill, Saga Hibachi Steakhouse, Spitzville Howl of the Moon, The Scorpion Bar and Mexican Cantina, and Wormtown Brewery to begin serving alcohol accompanied by food at 10 a.m. on January 18, 2026 — two hours ahead of their standard permitted hours. The chair noted the earlier-than-usual kickoff time drove the request: "We're going to basically allow most of our regular people who want early hours for food and drink to move forward."
