MassDevelopment Sets Hearing on $83 Million Babson College Bonds
WELLESLEY — MassDevelopment will hold a public hearing September 3 on $83 million in tax-exempt bond financing for building projects at Babson College, whose campus spans Wellesley and Needham, according to a town of Wellesley News Flash alert.

MassDevelopment will consider approving the tax-exempt bonds at its September 3 hearing to help finance multiple real estate projects on Babson College's campus. The college's grounds straddle the Wellesley-Needham line.
SCHOOLS
In an update to its air conditioning plan, Wellesley Public Schools said the School Committee voted unanimously in May to upgrade electrical systems and install window units at Wellesley Middle School and the Bates, Fiske and Schofield elementary schools, the four district buildings without centralized AC. The committee intends to request design funds at the fall Special Town Meeting.
