Medfield Youth Basketball Association sets August 15 date for in-town registration to open.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Medfield Youth Basketball Association's website says "IN TOWN Registration opens August 15!!" for the upcoming season, with separate details available for travel basketball. MYBA also lists several summer clinics for players ahead of the season: the Triple Threat Summer Clinics, run by past and current Medfield varsity boys basketball players, are set for August 24-26 at the high school's outdoor courts, with full-day and half-day options for rising second- through eighth-grade boys. Coach Pete's Summer Camp, led by Pete Sylvester, is running nine weeks of camps this summer for boys and girls entering second through ninth grade, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Edward's Church. The Dexter Southfield Basketball Camp, led by Dexter varsity coaches Lex Mongo, Kianna Ray and Matt Droney, is running for six weeks this summer for ages 4-13, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with skills, drills, scrimmages and swimming included.
