Finance Director Dave reported that six of 28 units have vacated so far, with three more confirmed departures pending, and that average reimbursements have run $4,819 per household. The action brings total reserve fund appropriations for the program to $130,000, with an additional $200,000 article planned for the special town meeting — a total of $330,000 against a $280,000 program cap, with the overage designed as a cash-flow buffer. The committee also voted unanimously to recommend a $346,718 appropriation to the Capital Facility Fund, a $368,482 passthrough appropriation to Needham's community access television station from cable franchise fees, a $50,000 demolition of a long-shuttered Riverside Park fieldhouse, and an $8,403 payment of two prior-year unpaid bills — one for special education transportation and one for a stray animal boarding invoice.
