The board also accepted $265,871.58 in state Winter Recovery Assistance Program funds as general fund revenue and approved fiscal year 2026 end-of-year transfers covering a combined waste-disposal overage of more than $260,000, driven by 2,000 mattresses disposed at the recycling center in the last calendar year alone, up from roughly 600 two years prior.

Recreation Superintendent Sam White reported that Haas Pool, closed since early June after a sump pump failure submerged the main pool pump over the winter, was expected to reopen July 15 with a free public day to follow.
