The board also accepted $265,871.58 in state Winter Recovery Assistance Program funds as general fund revenue and approved fiscal year 2026 end-of-year transfers covering a combined waste-disposal overage of more than $260,000, driven by 2,000 mattresses disposed at the recycling center in the last calendar year alone — up from roughly 600 two years prior.

Recreation Superintendent Sam White reported that Haas Pool, closed since early June after a sump pump failure submerged the main pool pump over the winter, was expected to reopen July 15 with a free public day to follow.
