Planning Board · Meeting of September 23, 2026

DEDHAM — The Dedham Planning Board unanimously approved special permits for 108 condominium units in two four-story mixed-use buildings on Bridge Street. Vice Chair Jessica Porter presided after Chair John Bethoney recused himself over a professional relationship with applicant 50 Bridge Street LLC; members James F. McGrail and James E. O'Brien IV joined her in the votes. Attorney Peter Zacher said the redesigned project, with 2,596 and 3,427 square feet of commercial space respectively and a combined 142 parking spaces, revives a 2025 approval that "wasn't moving forward" financially.

Conditions require a peak-hour shuttle to the West Roxbury commuter rail station and a ban on left turns exiting the site from 7 to 9 a.m. The same meeting, held jointly with the Select Board, interviewed three candidates, including sitting associate member Eli Bossin, for a vacant Planning Board seat without making an appointment.
