Planning Board · Meeting of November 4, 2026

Milton Planning Board approved a conditioned ADU and formally adopted East Milton Square design guidelines. The board approved a 713-square-foot unit above a three-car garage at 224 Central Ave, subject to a Fire Department strobe light, Town Engineer sewer and manhole details, and a note that exterior stairs have no exposed pressure-treated wood. It also approved its FY28 budget request, which staff said seeks $100,000 in planning study funds against $50,000 in prior years.

Members spent much of the night on the draft Housing Production Plan, which goes to a second public meeting Dec. 10 with the Select Board. One member said, "I'd rather be planning where these go than just reacting."
