Town Council Approves FY27 Operating Budget and Capital Investments

FRANKLIN — The Franklin Town Council has approved the Fiscal Year 2027 operating budget and capital investment plan, locking in the town's financial blueprint for the year ahead, while residents who dined out during Restaurant Week are now being asked to weigh in on their experience.

The Town Council adopted Franklin's Fiscal Year 2027 operating budget alongside a package of capital investments, according to the town's official website. The action establishes spending priorities and funding allocations for municipal services and infrastructure heading into the new fiscal year.

On a lighter note, the town is asking residents to complete a short community survey about Franklin Restaurant Week. The request, posted June 15, takes just a few minutes and helps the town gauge how the dining event landed with the community. The survey is available at franklinma.gov.
