Wrentham Select Board Recording Contains No Board Meeting, Only Election-Night Remarks
WRENTHAM — April 8, 2026 — A recording submitted as the Wrentham Select Board meeting of April 8, 2026, contains no Wrentham municipal business. The roughly four-minute footage appears to capture post-election remarks by an unidentified candidate from Plainville, Massachusetts, who congratulates fellow candidates, thanks supporters, and argues for expanding Plainville's Select Board from three to five members, explicitly stating: "I told everybody in the town of Plainville, we were at Three Selectmen in 1905 — Rentham has five, Foxborough has five, there's no reason why Plainville can't have five." No Wrentham official is identified on camera, no meeting is called to order, and no vote or formal action of any kind is recorded. The town's AgendaCenter remains the only available source for any record of the April 8 Wrentham Select Board meeting.
