Dover Planning Board Approves Pool, ADU Site Plans and Names Student Liaison
DOVER — March 23, 2026 — Dover Planning Board approves two residential site plans and appoints a high school student to the Tree Preservation Committee. The board, meeting remotely March 23, voted 3 to 0 to approve a preliminary site plan review for a detached accessory dwelling unit at 18 Meadowbrook — Chair Carol Lisbon recused — and 5 to 0 to approve a preliminary site plan review for an in-ground pool and roughly 1,000-square-foot patio at 80 Strawberry Hill, finding the project compliant with all setbacks and well within the 20 percent lot-coverage maximum at just over 10 percent. The board then voted 5 to 0 to appoint Dover-Sherborn sophomore Josie Danielski to the Tree Preservation Committee for a two-year term after the Board of Selectmen separately cleared the appointment because she is a minor. Town Planner Melissa told the board that a public hearing on proposed ADU and site plan review bylaw amendments is set for April 6, with a full board vote on those articles scheduled for April 13, and that the first of three community forums on a town-funded housing development study, conducted with Barrett Planning Group, will be held on Zoom March 31.
