Dover Planning Board Approves Shed in Likely Last Such Site Plan Review

DOVER — April 28, 2026 — Dover Planning Board approves what may be its final shed site plan review before a zoning change. The board voted 3-0 Monday to approve a preliminary site plan review for a 264-square-foot accessory shed at 4 Bridal Path Circle, a routine application that Planning Board Administrator Melissa Santucci-Rosi described as "the last shed that the planning board needs to look at going forward" — pending passage of Article 19 at the May 5 town meeting. Chair Carol Lisbon said a successful vote on Article 19 would sharply reduce the board's application pool. The board also heard that Barrett Planning's Housing Task Force will hold its second community forum on Saturday, May 30, at the Community Center, with an interactive format and broad departmental outreach planned the day before. Separately, Lisbon announced that the state has returned a conservation restriction on Hale Reservation to the Trustees of Reservations, covering more than 1,100 privately funded acres, with a Conservation Commission presentation set for May 13.
