Planning Board · Meeting of August 19, 2026

Cohasset Planning Board endorses Situate Hill lot swap while short two members. Chair Clark Brewer authorized Associate Member Dana Eagles to vote to secure quorum, and the board voted 3-0 to endorse an "approval not required" swap of two 11,890-square-foot slivers between 20 Situate Hill Drive and 231 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, presented by project engineer Paul Gunn of Morse Engineering. Members continued a public hearing on a 159 Atlantic Avenue land-alteration permit to September 2 and previewed zoning amendments bound for an October 26 special town meeting, including a "sport court" definition change Member Amy Glasmeier said should address pickleball noise: "people don't like that." The board also declined, citing insufficient information, to make recommendations to the zoning board of appeals on special permits for a flood-plain garage at 121 Jerusalem Road and a boat-shed expansion at 257 Atlantic Avenue.
