STOUGHTON — The Planning Board approved dropping a fence requirement at 271 Canton Street. With the chair abstaining, the vice chair took over, and the board approved the modification with three votes in favor and two abstentions after the neighboring house was replaced by the approved M&D Core commercial site. Engineer Eric Dias of Strongpoint Engineering offered property-line markers.
The board continued the Day Spring Chapel case at 1076 Central Street to Nov. 12 and closed the hearing on a 58.5-square-foot Washington Street sign. Berkeley's Esther Bion updated the board on the York Street site, and a member warned of "headwinds" without neighborhood outreach.
